This Privacy Policy explains how the DebtHero mobile application ("DebtHero," "we," "us") collects, uses, and shares information.

Information We Collect

1) Information you provide in the app

  • Debt and payment details you enter (e.g., debt names, balances, interest rates, payments, due dates).
  • Reminder preferences you configure (e.g., schedule and timing).

2) Purchases

If you purchase DebtHero Premium, purchase-related information is handled by Google Play and RevenueCat. We may receive purchase entitlement status (e.g., whether Premium is active) but do not receive your full payment card details.

3) Device/diagnostic information

Depending on platform behavior and crash reporting tools, we may receive limited technical information (e.g., app version, device model, OS version, crash logs) to help diagnose issues. (If no crash reporting is enabled, this may be minimal.)

How We Use Information

We use information to:

  • Provide core app functionality (debt tracking, payoff planning, reminders).
  • Enable and verify Premium access.
  • Improve reliability, performance, and user experience (e.g., troubleshooting crashes and bugs).
  • Communicate important changes related to the app (when applicable).

Data Storage

  • DebtHero stores your debt and payment data locally on your device.
  • If you use export/sharing features, the data you export is shared through the method you choose (e.g., email, cloud drive). We do not automatically upload your exported data to our servers.

Sharing of Information

We may share information only in the following cases:

  • Service providers: RevenueCat (for managing purchase entitlements) and Google Play (for purchase processing).
  • Legal reasons: to comply with law, regulation, or legal requests, or to protect rights and safety.

We do not sell your personal information.

Notifications

If you enable reminders, DebtHero may send notifications based on your settings. You can disable notifications in the app or in your device settings.

Children's Privacy

DebtHero is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Your Choices

You can:

  • Edit or delete your debts and payment entries within the app.
  • Disable notifications in device settings.
  • Uninstall the app to remove locally stored data from your device.
  • Restore purchases through Google Play to re-enable Premium on a new installation.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect information. However, no method of storage is 100% secure.
